Aegina Hills
The new architectural study for the construction of four new residences is being carried out on a 1000 square meter plot located in the village of Perdika in the municipality of Aegina.
Information
The terrain morphology and orientation dictate the basic design principles for the new residences. The architectural composition contributes to appropriately integrating the building into the landscape, as the steep slope of the land necessitates the stepped arrangement of the building volumes.
The plot where the new residences are being developed is particularly steep, with a slope of 40%. According to the architectural proposal, the residences are developed into two compositions of volumes, placed parallel to each other at three meters distance and extending at different levels, following the plot’s steep slope. Each stepped volume includes two residences at different levels, and each residence has two floors connected by an internal staircase (maisonettes).
